The 4th stop on The Release Innovation Challenge Community College tour took The Release Team to the College of Agriculture, Science and Education (CASE) in Portland. The tour was well received from students and staff who enjoyed displays, discounts and sampling from several companies in attendance.
In addition to the presentations on Innovations and Intellectual Property in the educational seminar, The Release Team hosted fun tutorials using Batiste and Arm and Hammer products. “We had so much fun, we started off with our iCool Water drink offs, to dance competitions, we had student performers and the featured artistes definitely gave epic performances” shared Talisa Taylor, Executive Producer and Host of The Release.
The concert featured performances from reggae recording artiste Jahdon, Imaahki, Crushal, Kym (formally Gaza Kym), Lincoln 3Dot and Trabass. “This entire tour has great educational value and the entertainment package is superb. I applaud The Release for this initiative and I look forward to working with them on additional tour stops” said Travis Muschett of Emerge Multimedia, one of the sponsors of the tour.
Students at each Community College are asked to submit their Inventions to The Release’s official website www.thereleaseja.com to enter the challenge. This year The Release will award the winning innovator with cash and prizes valued over $120,000.00 JMD. Information on the competition and remaining tour dates can be found on The Release website, www.thereleaseja.comand on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter @TheReleaseja.
