Known for her collaborations with Mavado, Sizzla and Devin Di Dakta, recording artiste Rre (pronounced Ree) is eager to shoot the video for her blazing remix for ‘Nana’. The remix was done with Ghanaian artiste Stonebwoy and has been buzzing in Ghana and the wider African community. Rre who met Stonebwoy through a mutual friend has since been on the promotional trail in Jamaica and New York but is now looking towards a European market.
The ‘Bad It Up’ artiste has been making plans to shoot a section of the video in Ghana and the remaining in Jamaica. She said “Nana remix has been receiving such great reviews in these two countries so the decision to shoot in both countries is ideal. I always think outside of the box and I like having a high standard for my work”. Rre has secured the services of RD Studios for the shooting and conceptualizing of the video.
RD Studios has won several awards for top video conceptualizing in Jamaica. They have worked with Rre on her video with Mavado for ‘Crazy in Love (Remix)’ and ‘A Dat Yuh Wah’ featuring Sizzla. Rre said “Between working with Stonebwoy and RD, I know Nana remix will give me the lead I need at this time. I am revamping how I approach my music; I am focused and ready”.
‘Nana Remix’ was released in October 2017 on the South Trade Records label in Italy and is now available on iTunes and other downloadable platforms. Rre can be followed on Twitter at @RreOfficial and Instagram at @RreOfficial.
